Each of us tends to think we see things as they are, that we are objective. But this is not the case. We see the world, not as it is, but as we are - or, as we are conditioned to see it. When we open our mouths to describe what we see, we in effect describe ourselves, our perceptions, our paradigms.

You can’t spend the rest of your life tiptoeing around to try and avert danger. It won’t work. You’ll just end up missing the life you have.

It is an honor and privilege to work in this profession. If you disagree, do us all a favor and go work someplace else. We’ve got important things to do and I need passionate and committed people to help do this work

The “new” coffee shop

Realized that twitter is the online coffee shop where you don’t feel awkward talking to the table next to you. The tables are hashtags and the conversation is open for everyone to participate, but you can (and should) do lots of sitting and listening.

The way I see it, you have to get out before you screw it up, & stay long enough for people to remember you’re still alive.
